Freedom Day & Hogsback

Fabulous fabulous weekend.

On Friday we drove way out into rural Transkei, beyond Mthatha and past a little place called Tsolo where SPW works with school kids. They put on a great show -- dancing, singing, drama, the works. It was such a pleasure to hang out with them on Freedom Day.

Then J and I spent 3 nights in Hogsback. It was beeeeeeeautiful!

We literally had every kind of weather, all of it picturesque. We stayed in fabulous cottages at The Edge, feasted and walked the magical trails to numerous waterfalls through lush indigenous forests.

We'll definitely be returning soon, a mere 140kms from East London!

AND day after tomorrow we head on down to Cape Town for 10 days all leading up to the much anticpated wedding of Karin and Falk. I feel spoilt rotten!
