Flow Live -- Surviving COVID-19 in South Africa
The things we do to survive these mad mad times.
Here are the Facebook Live Flow sessions I've been offering thrice weekly to keep myself going and hopefully help others along the way.
It is NOT easy to put yourself out there when you're struggling to make sense of a world gone mad(der) while suddenly homeschooling and trying to keep what little paid work you might still be lucky enough to have afloat. But if you're keen to breathe, move and meditate together I really do feel that it helps quell the almost unrelenting anxiety or however you find yourself in these strange days.
The very first Flow Live includes shamanic shaking, tapping, EFT, Qi gong, yin yoga, pranayama, all the simple good things that help me feel a bit better:
South Africa is 23 days into stringent Lockdown. This past week I helped distribute food parcels to the destitute in our neighbouring Masiphumelele where three weeks of no work equates to no food. The situation is dire so if you find yourself in a position to help I can recommend the following programmes all of whom I know and have worked with personally:
Living Hope
Feed Our Valley
Masi Creative Hub
Ukama Community Foundation
Subscribe to Foot Sore & Fancy Free by Email
And please verify your email address (check your junkmail!)
Thanks :)
