Am I wrong to think that Sacha Baron Cohen is a genius?
Is it just because I've lived in the 'Stans (& the US) that I find Borat SO hilarious, not to mention heartbreakingly true?
We've been having stormy weather here on the Highveld and with it electrical displays in the sky and outages on the ground. Yesterday during rush hour traffic the light had gone out at a busy intersection. A homeless guy had taken it upon himself to direct traffic and things were moving along beautifully. Now that's citizenship.
And the reason I brought Sacha and the impromptu traffic conductor up in the same breath...well, something to do with lightening up, seeing the truth without having to tear my hair out. Something like that.
